Red Meat Intake Too High --- Says Who?

Red Meat Intake Too High --- Says Who?

Your soon to be unelected Democratic Nominee, Kamala Harris says she wants to incentivize less consumption of red meat. Huh? How is she going to do this? Tax Breaks or maybe Tax credits?

A claim stemming from merely a political agenda rather than a concern for your health or "Climate Change". Let's go along with what VP Harris' green peddlers refer to when she mentions climate change. Let's hone in on just one of the "points" mentioned, the Amazon Rain Forest's destruction. I am going to take a leap & say we all agree this is not good. Yes, this is awful & if we can stop people from eating beef, the Amazon will be saved, right? Well, no.

The Fix? Let the consumer know where their food product came from.

The way I see it, we need to let the consumer & the market make that decision with the help of minimal legislation purely for CONSUMER KNOWLEDGE. I am pro less government, but pro using government in terms of foreign interest, import regulations, & monopolization resulting in skewed markets that don't run & react on true fundamentals. I believe we can fix market manipulation through the consumer & logical, common sense derived legislation vs using tax hikes or lobbyist's using behind the curtain bully tactics to use puppet, partisan, career politicians to pass unreasonable legislation.

If the American consumer is concerned about the abuse to the Amazon Rain Forest by the agriculture industry, shouldn't they buy the same product but instead it is produced in a country that leads the world in safe & quality beef production...... Like the USA?

Let's reinstate MCOOL (Mandatory Country of Origin Labeling) & let the consumers decide how much of what they eat & how to save their climate instead of letting D.C. decide.
